Where to park in Parc des Princes

Like many supporters of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, you know perfectly well that parking near the Parc des Princes stadium for an important match can be complicated. It’s much better to book a parking space in advance! But that’s why you’re here, right?

This famous Paris stadium, with a capacity of nearly 50,000 is one of the largest and oldest stadiums in France.

For a little history (because here at ParkingsdeParis we like to share the knowledge), the Parc des Princes stadium hosted matches of the French football team and the XV of France before the Stade de France stadium was built. Parc des Princes has been the home of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) since 1974 and they still play all their home games there.

The Parc des Princes

The PSG Stadium

The stadium is located in the 16th district of Paris at 24 Rue de Commandant Guilbaud. Inaugurated in 1897, the original stadium was replaced by a second version in 1932, and eventually by the current venue in 1972.

The Parc des Princes has been witness and host to many historical matches, such as the Europe Cup in 1960 and 1984, the UEFA Europa League final in 1998, and more recently, the Euro Cup 2016 qualifying matches.

The stadium is surrounded by many other sports facilities, such as the Jean-Bouin Stadium, the Philippe Chatrier court, and the Auteuil racetrack. Stick to this area and you can tour all the stadiums while other folks tour the bars. Although, really, nothing prevents you from doing and then the other… But we advise you to leave your car safely parked before!

Parking for a PSG match

Wondering how it’s possible to park at Parc des Princes for a PSG Match? With ParkingsdeParis it is!

You book your parking space in advance, park your car, and then celebrate after your favorite team’s victory. (If it’s not PSG, we wouldn’t recommend you go shouting it from the rooftops around the 16th district, you never know…)

Warning: For some PSG matches, the car parks next to the Parc des Princes stadium can fill up, so we recommend booking a car park in Paris, a little further away, and then take the subway to the stadium.

Going to Parc de Princes by metro (subway)

So, you decided to park in an affordable car park in Paris in the end? It really is a good idea; now you just have to take public transportation to get to Parc des Princes.

You can leave your car in a car park near metro line 10, which connects the center of Paris with the Parcs des Princes stadium. You just have to take the metro to the Porte de Saint-Cloud station, and you will be a 5 minute walk from the stadium.

If knowing you can book affordable parking near the Parc des Princes stadium still isn’t enough to convince you, consider that your car will be safe and secure, and your spot is guaranteed!
