A large, low-cost car park round the corner from Avenue Montaigne and the Champs-Élysées
The François 1er car park is a large, low-cost car park in Paris' 8th arrondissement. The entrance is on Rue François 1er, very close to Avenue Montaigne and the Champs-Élysées. It is open and guarded 24/7 and is well equipped with lifts (to level -1), good disabled access and several disabled parking spaces. There are some other extra services, including a car-wash and the loaning of umbrellas and if you are arriving in an electric car, there are some charging stations for you to top up. All of this is accompanied by some soothing background music, everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Lastly, they are currently installing a guidance system, using lights to show your path, which will take to your parking space.
We recommend the François 1er car park to anyone wanting to park in a safe, low-cost car park near the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Once there, it is very easy to reach the various boutiques, cinemas, museums, cabarets and theatres in the area, as well as a long list of other attractions. The Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, the Palais de la Découverte, the Théâtre du Rond Point, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Gaumont Champs-Élysées cinema, the Comédie des Champs-Élysées and the Crazy Horse are all just a few minutes’ walk away. A bit further away are the Palais de Tokyo, the Museum of Modern Art and the Palais Galliera; these three museums are about ten minutes from the car park.
The François 1er car park is well connected with public transport. Nestled between Franklin-Roosevelt and Alma-Clémenceau metro stations, and only a few minutes from Champs-Élysées-Clémenceau station. This gives you the option of catching any of lines 1, 9 or 13 on the Paris metro.
