Located between the Gare d’Austerlitz railway station and the François Mitterrand library, the Cité de la Mode et du Design (Fashion and Design Centre) never fails to intrigue visitors thanks to its astonishing green facade overlooking the river Seine. In addition to the Institut Français de la Mode (French Fashion Institute), the Fashion and Design Centre hosts exhibitions and shows, as well as being home to designer stores and bars/restaurants on a 14,000 m² site. What’s more, the roof of the Cité de la Mode et du Design boasts the largest terrace in Paris, where you’ll find two bar-club-restaurants (Wanderlust and Nüba).
Come and discover this new district where you can enjoy strolling along the banks of the Seine, discovering the François Mitterrand Library, the Grands Moulins de Paris, the MK2 Bibliothèque Cinema, the Simone de Beauvoir footbridge, the Bercy gardens or the Joséphine-Baker pool. If you are arriving by car, you can book your parking space at the Paris-Lyon Gare de Lyon car park located just on the opposite side. It's a 7-minute walk to the Fashion & Design Centre by crossing the Seine river over the Pont Charles de Gaulle.
