Housed in the Palais de Chaillot, the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine (architecture and heritage centre) offers a fascinating overview of architectural heritage from the Middle Ages to the present day. The works exhibited here are scale 1 mouldings of architectural, civil or religious masterpieces for various periods and towns, but also life-size reproductions of original major wall paintings comprising our heritage. In the three galleries comprising the Museum of French Monuments, you will find the mouldings gallery, the gallery for the wall paintings and the gallery of modern and contemporary architecture.
